The first time I only had beer sampler, which entails 4 or 5 very small glasses of different beers that they produce. The waitress explained them all. It a great way to try them all and not feel like you`ve drank too much or feel heavy from drinking all that beer. The second time I had one of their sandwiches, Caesar salad and homemade ice tea/lemonade mix. The sandwich was ok but they had this cheese they make in Winnipeg inside it and I didn`t really like the taste, other then that the bread was delicious which they make in house as well as the remaining part of the sandwich. The salad and homemade croutons were my absolute favorite and definitely recommend you try it. As for the homemade ice team/lemonade maybe I would be more impressed if I hadn`t mixed them. The people working there were really nice and they have a cute little bunny that hangs out on their outdoor patio.
Place was alright, good selection of beer. Good service, the bar tender was very friendly. The only reason I rate it as poor, it’s because of a particular waitress they have working there. She had tattoos down her arm. We went there 2 night in a row for beer because we had family in town and they enjoy local breweries. As soon as we stepped foot in the building we were greeted by this lady and right from the gecko she was terrible. Very rude, awful people skills, didn’t know how to talk to people. I thought it was just a bad night for her and let it slide. Wasn’t going to write a review about it. But we went back there the following night we were seated at a table by the bar. Every time we went up to the bar to grab a beer she would ask “are you going to sit there all night” well ya it’s a restaurant. That’s what people do. She must have asked that at least 8 times with a terrible tone like she was better than everyone. I would never go back to this place, while this waitress is working there.
Expected alot more. Menu was very disappointing. Stopped in for a beer, only a few local beer offered, and the rest from different areas. Would have liked to have a pitcher of the one we tried, but no pitcher offered. Only by the glass. Very minimal menu. Don't go if you like meat. Very vegan and gluten free friendly. The flatbread did look good, but too much money for what you got. $15.00 - $16.00 each. We sat outside, as inside was very noisy. Very tall ceiling, and no sound barrier. Outside only had 2 picnic tables offered to sit at. not great if you are wanting an intimate private conversation. You hear everybody else around you, The only meat dishes offered were if you were 4 people. whole chicken with veggies, would have been ok, if there were more than 2 of us, and if we all wanted chicken. LOL.
We came here last night for the first time and it was an excellent experience the wait staff are extremely knowledgeable the food was hot but best of all the beer was cold there is absolutely no reason not to go back good job staff
I went here one evening with a friend and we enjoyed our meal so much that we returned a few days later with our family. It was an awesome place for a family meal, as we shared the family style roast chicken dinner that came on a platter with roast carrots, parsnips and the most fantastic potatoes. The gravy too was delicious. The platter was ample food for five (5) of us, which included to hungry 20 somethings, along with a couple of appetizers. The service is friendly and the vibe is casual and welcoming. It was a great experience and, of course, the beer choices were good, given they brew their own. All in all an excellent experience and I look forward to returning.
