Contribuisci feedbackI was going there for their 2pm happy hour. I showed up at 1:57pm and they sat me down. Then they asked if I’m here for happy hour, I said yes. The waiter asked me to leave the restaurant and come back in 3 minutes because happy hour isn’t for another 3 minutes. The restaurant was empty, no reason to ask customer to leave for 3 mins to return. I feel belittled and unwelcome. I left and will never return to this restaurant. I was a regular customer! Also only about 6-8 free parking spot, so be prepare to pay extra for parking.Parking: There are 6-8 free parking spot, the rest is paid parking, downtown rate!
Extremely unpleasant customer service. Given a wrong order and charged twice. MAY the cashier need a better training how to serve well. I asked for the owner and she said the owner cant speak English. I dont know if she is lying. But the food we ordered was Undercook pork dumplings. The parking very limited, stinky washroom no paper towel provided, dirty dishes especially the glass. The debit/credit machine need to be updated . If you want cheap food but terrible customer service that is what you will get from them. We are Not going back or order to this restaurant again.
My experience with Sampo Dimsum wasn't great! Last weekend August 6 my wife ordered for pick up of 8 seafood dumplings, 8 pork dumplings, 8 deluxed shrimp dumplings charged for $117.38 and I added a tip of $11.74 my total purchased $129.12. The lady named May was the cashier who told me that my transaction didn't go through, so I had to do it again this time the transaction was accepted. However, I was 100% sure my first transaction was accepted. I checked my online banking in the car after I left the place. There were two charges of $129.12. I also called and confirmed by the bank personnel if the 2 transactions were deducted. Went back to the restaurant to ask for my refund and told me No Refund since there was only one approved transaction. They couldn't even give the decline receipt from the first transaction. The lady was very rude she refused to give us the refund and said to call the bank after tuesday if the charge is still there. I put a claim through my bank, and it is under investigation right now. VERY INCONVENIENCE FOR ME. I'm not surprised if some customers are unhappy with their service. We also didn't receive the right order. I got 8 regular shrimp dumplings, 8 deluxe shrimp dimplings, and 8 pork dumplings. I would rather not come back or recommend the restaurant again. They need a better service and parking space is very limited.
Waiting for 15mins and no one to greet or saying anything to let us what is going on. Ask for a waitress for help like how many customers in front us, just get an answer like I don’t know wait outside. Before us, there already two table people waiting here and since no one to greet to customers, they all left and no body notice. Ok then if the owner run business like this, which means he or she send his or her loyal customers to other business and will never come back. However, it’s totally ok since they are so busy. One or two or three tables of customers left will have no any bad effect to this place.Dim sum garden is really friendly and efficient. Every server treat us really in time no wait. They are busy too but the service is totally different.
My family and I frequent here often, and it is often a good experience. There were four of us and we asked if we could sit at a table that seats 6 as we order lots. There was a family of 3 sitting at a 10 person table.The employee told us that with a rude expression on her face that it was reserved.She then returned to give us our plates, utensils etc. and we showed our order. We asked again if we could move because we were sitting in a tight corner table, and we ordered a lot of food. She rolled her eyes and walked away.We sat at the new table. Our ordersheet was full and the two employees looked at us and mumbled something and walked away. They passed by us a few times, and have not asked for our order sheet. It was the first that I can recall experiencing a negative experience here as we have been regulars since the 90s. We walked out and went to Dim Sum Garden across the street. Way better service and and treatment from the get go.
