Sam's Place - Winnipeg

I have never written a review before, but after dining at Sams and experiencing the exceptional service, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. The food was outstanding and the service was top-notch. I was treated like family during my visit to the restaurant. I highly recommend Sams and will definitely be a returning customer!

I have been going to Sam's Place for many years and the experience is always great. The menu offers delicious food and is always limited, but the friendly staff/volunteers bring it to our table. I love that we can sit in a quiet environment and browse through an amazing selection of books for sale. I visited on August 5th, my first visit since COVID, so some aspects were not applicable. However, cleanliness has never been a concern at any time.

I went to see a jazz band tonight and it was amazing. The place was cozy and small with fantastic acoustics. It was a perfect setting to watch a band, very intimate. I didn't even have a chance to look at the books. I had tea and a delicious brownie. I'm excited to go back and explore more. I'm so glad I discovered this place!

My cousins and I visited twice recently and will certainly return. A nice atmosphere for lunch and a cozy walk through the well organized second handbooks. We found all the treasures to go home. Staff, food and service is very good and so helpful. There is also a small stage that is used for entertainment evenings.

Went and saw a jazz band play tonight. What a great place! Comfy, small, amazing acoustics! Great place to watch an band! So intimate! I didn't even have a chance to look at the books. Had some tea and a brownie that was delicious! I can't wait to go back and just browse. So glad I found it!
