Sorrento's - Winnipeg

I have not been to this Sorrento's, but I have been to the Sorrento's at 529 Ellice Avenue (204)774-9892 and definitely feel that is the best one in the city. It is located near the U of W and most of the sports participants eat their. It is family owned and they treat their customers the same way. The food is excellent. The pizza is one of the best and their Sorrento's Salad is to die for, which is salad made with lettuce, cheese, ham and salami, in a vinaigrette dressing, oh so good. The bread sticks are nice and garlicky. There is also great pasta an Italian sausage in a sauce which is also great - what more can I say!

I have been ordering their Sorrento Salad for years. Always consistent and best I have had. Oh by the way. the large is big enough for 2 people. But you might want to eat it all by yourself!. lol.

The Bruschetta is to die for! Very good prices overalll. The Sorrentos on Grant are always busy but thats a good thing!

My friend and I had dinner at the Grant location. The Sorrento salad was excellent, but I was very disappointed in my meat lovers pizza as the pepparoni was burnt and there was hardly any cheese. My friend had ordered the salmon and she said it was very good. The breadsticks were very dry as well.
