Sushi Maru - Winnipeg

I've been here many times over. The food quality is superb and the service is very good. Fresh sushi cannot be compared to cold sushi from grocery stores. I highly recommend this place for all ages, a great comfortable place to eat. Will return soon for the spicy crunch shrimp and volcano rolls!

It was my first time at Sushi Maru and it was great! The service was excellent and it was a very relaxed and comfortable dining experience. We had the spicy tuna, Philadelphia and Princess rolls as well as veggie tempura. The price is much lower than our regular faves. I can't wait to go back and try more sushi!<br/

I've been here a handful of times and I would say it's my go-to sushi place in the area. It's quick, average prices I would say and the sushi is good. My favorite rolls are dynamite and BC. They also have a fried banana dessert that is delicious and green tea flavoured ice cream that I love.

Sushi Maru is one of the top Sushi restaurants in Winnipeg.<br/ <br/ About a year ago I had a bad day and posted a negative comment about Sushi Maru, and for that I apologize. The comment was unjust and I was just having a very bad day. I had totally forgot about the comment and continued to eat at Sushi Maru over the years. The owner is very kind, and is even kind enough to make me a special roll of my choice. I have ordered from this location hundreds of times because it is so delicious, they have some of the best Sushi Rolls in the entire city.<br/ <br/ As someone who has taste tested almost every Sushi place in Winnipeg, and many other places in North America, I recommend Sushi Maru, and specifically the Teriyaki Alaska Roll, Spicy Crunch Roll, and the Angry Shrimp Roll. You will not be disappointed! The Agedashi Tofu is amazing too, with some Teriyaki sauce.
