Sushi Plus - Winnipeg

When I arrived, the restaurant was quiet, with only one other table occupied. The miso soup was served cold, and I had to request that it be microwaved. The rolls were large, but they contained too much rice and very little fish. This place used to offer more affordable prices and better flavor, but given the current prices, I can easily find higher-quality sushi elsewhere.

I noticed that there are plenty of positive reviews, so perhaps the staff was having an off day when I visited. However, considering the prices, this is unacceptable. If I had known what to expect, I wouldn't have chosen this place, and I strongly recommend that other diners look for alternatives.

Not sure what the good reviews are for but my order was utterly disappointing! The takoyaki was gross and unappealing, the 2 rolls were sloppy and lacked flavor, nor did they taste fresh. It's as if whoever made my order didn't care. It was frankly the worst sushi I've ever had. I do not recommend.

Had a lovely lunch special here. Everything was tasty and served promptly.

This restaurant is not worth visiting. I was very disappointed. The prices are too high for what you get—small rolls served in cheap boxes.
