We visited this restaurant for the first time last Saturday, and I must say, the food was excellent. I ordered the new menu item, French toast made with banana bread, topped with caramel and pecans, and it was delicious. My friends also enjoyed their meals. I found their coffee to be quite strong, though, in my opinion. The decor is nice and modern. Overall, it was a great experience, with fast and friendly service and plenty of parking. We look forward to coming back to try more of their new menu items.
I have been here a few times now and I can say that this franchise is consistent. I have almost the same experience no matter which Pancake House I go to.<br/ <br/ As is usual with almost any breakfast place you go to on weekends, there is a little bit of a wait time when you get there. The staff does a good job of moving people in and out and accommodating any group, no matter how large or small. They are always friendly and are more than willing to get you whatever you may need. When the place is packed, it does take a little bit of time for them to come around but even then, they still are around to fill coffees and ask how things are going before it gets too late.<br/ <br/ The food at this location is also the same as it is at any other Pancake House. I really like this because I know what to expect and I can get my favorites and not have to be worried that this staff will make it different than others. My favorites are the Ham Cheese pancake and then anything that comes with their signature Buttermilk Pancakes. They always prepare everything to specifications and are quite accommodating when I have heard others ask for substitutions. Nothing on the menu blows me away but it is all just good, wholesome breakfast food.<br/ <br/ The atmosphere at the new place is what separates this place from the the other locations. This one definitely has a more modern feel. I like how the tables and layout allow for flexibility to accommodate many different size groups without having to wait for an hour for the one table that can seat more than 4 people. <br/ <br/ The one thing I will say about this location specifically is that you must be prepared to wait a little while when you get there. Especially on weekend mornings. Not sure if it is the novelty of the new location or what but this seems to be where everyone comes for breakfast. <br/ <br/ Will definitely be making my way back here again. It is a solid, consistent restaurant.
Had lunch here today. To start off, staff was very friendly and accomodating. It was my first time to experience 3 staff come up to us and ask if we need something to drink. Typically, it's either we have to wait for a while for someone to offer us a drink or there would be only one staff who would come up to us. Though it was full today, the wait for the food was not too long. The food was great, a lot better than the Pancake House at the Forks. Lastly, I love the theme of the place. The only downside for me is the location which is far from where I live. But overall, it was a great dining experience!
Great place for breakfast menu. Food taste really good, you need to be there to have a taste. Definitely coming back.
