Verns Pizza - Winnipeg

Great pizza i have tried Many and you are in my top 10 from coast to coast ... I have lived in many places from Vancouver to New Brunswick ... keep up the good work

Ok, you can get normal pizzas here too ... but the deep dish is the standout. I've had actual Chicago deep dish pizza in Chicago, and Vern's reminds me of that experience. The pizza is incredibly meaty and filling. Try the T-Rex ... you may regret it, but you always remember it :-)

My Dad and I were in the McPhillips area and he asked if I wanted to grab a slice of pizza for lunch from a nearby place that he likes. He asked if I liked thick pizza. Usually I prefer thin crust and will go out of my way, but wanted to try something new. We each ordered an individual slice of th T-Rex pizza and it was loaded with toppings! I actually liked that, because usually my problem with regular and thick crust pizza is the ratio of toppings to crust is quite unbalanced. The toppings on this pizza was equal to or more than the crust. Overall good pizza and if I'm in the area I would try again.

Vern's has great pizza, and great staff too. My favourite is the Vern's Special. I find the original thick to be a bit too much on toppings, so I usually go with the Vern's Lite. Still plenty of toppings.

My wife and me ordered verns pizza saturday night from the east kildonan location and the service was really good but the two thick med sized pizzas we ordered tasted like Some one poured 2 coffee cups full of salt and we had to throw the rest out cause we where drinking water like crazy , for the price we paid for we might as well have ordered Santa Lucia pizza . If you order verns make sure you tell them to not put salt in the pizza .
