Found this place on Ubereats. Was ver good. Will order directly from them next time as they are a small business. First time trying Jollof rice . Was very good. Fluffy rice fried in a Spicy tomato sauce. Kinda like a spicy pizza pop. Came with a chicken leg and thigh. Large eice portion. Some fried plantains. Food was ready right in time. Friendly owner. Will order again. Service: Take out
I was excited to see Ivorian food being represented in Winnipeg.. I thought I was going to get a taste of home, but I didn’t. I was craving Attieke and like most people I wanted to try eating out instead of cooking. And after what I had I can say don’t get the Attiéké. As an Ivorian I can tell right away that it was off. The “ Attiéké” isn’t Attiéké, but instead Gari, the sauce is off as well, it tasted like sweet pasta sauce that you get in a can (too much tomato paste). It’s not authentic and needs improvement. If you are going to attempt to make Attiéké at least use actual Attiéké and not Gari because the textures and taste are not the same thing but instead a cheap and unacceptable substitute. At that point it’s not even Attiéké but Gari with fried fish.
If you are still preparing the food, you should not tell the courier that we are just packing it, give us two minutes. Be truthful and tell him that we are making it and we need half hour to make it. Liars......
Good introduction to African food! Their jollof rice was very tasty and spicy, and the plantains are a great break from all the flavors. Ordered 30 mins before closing from skip and still received my order in a timely manner.
