San Marcos - Winnsboro

I was a bit disappointed because I was hoping to find some authentic options like pastor, barbacoa, tripas, or menudo. Instead, I ended up having tacos, tamales, and enchiladas, all made with ground beef—very Americanized. That said, the food was still quite good! I’ll likely eat here again the next time I’m in town.

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly kind. We arrived quite late, but they welcomed us with smiles and served us delicious food. We enjoyed a generous meal! Thank you for accommodating us so late!

I recently enjoyed the best street tacos I’ve had in a long time! The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and the service is quick and friendly. The cheese dip is thick and flavorful, and the salsa is just as robust. I highly recommend trying the meal deal for two for $30 listed on the back of the menu. It comes in a large cast iron bowl filled with steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, paprika, onions, and grilled cactus, all served fajita style with tortillas on the side. The prices are comparable to other Tex-Mex restaurants, but this place stands out as better than many I’ve visited.

I have never once used the phrase this is fire to describe something but I 'll be damned if it wasn 't the only thing that came to mind while eating here.I got the steak chicken shrimp fajitas with grilled veggies and the street tacos.the meat was perfectly seasoned and so tender.you can taste that it 's been grilled too.by the end I was full but still wanted more.unfortunately I was on my bike with no room for takeout.if you find yourself in winnsboro La make this place your stop for lunch or dinner

These guys have it down to a science. Not only was the food spectacular, they served 24 hungry softball players like it was nothing. Where other restaurants turned us away because they didn't want to serve such a large group, the workers here never batted an eye and were very attentive and glad to have us. This will be a regular stop! Thanks again
