Kotta Japanese Grill - Winston Salem

This restaurant has potential, but the person taking orders was quite inattentive. I had to repeat my order several times because he seemed preoccupied with his phone. It’s frustrating when the staff doesn't appear busy, yet service lacks focus. On a positive note, the server who brought our food was fantastic and ensured we had everything we needed. However, the high prices for the food, combined with poor customer service, diminished the overall experience. I won’t be returning until there are improvements in customer service. UPDATE: The owner responded to my review, which is meaningful to me.

The food was good and the restaurant was clean, but be cautious because they switched our order. Despite the fact that a menu item was listed correctly twice, they still charged us an extra $2.00 for it. We brought it to their attention, but they never removed the signs, so it feels intentional.

Delicious Smokey flavored hibachi chicken. Nice atmosphere and friendly courteous staff

First time there. Food tastes food. Got hibachi chicken, it only had 6 little pieces in it! Just not enough in it for me. Think I?ll stay with my favorite Japanese restaurant.
