La Botana Mexican - Winston Salem

So glad we returned to eat here. We came here Years ago and felt the food wasn't memorable enough. This time around the food was excellent. We had beef and chicken fajitas, so good. It had yellow, red, and green peppers in it. The refried beans were so fresh I didn't know they could taste so good. We tried the flan for dessert and it is a must have! Fajitas are what we consider a safe option at Mexican restaurants, but we will happily be coming back to try some of their more adventurous menu items. F.Y.I they even have breakfast!

I was going to dine in but had to change my plans and take it to go. While there, the service was very good. Nice, relaxing vibe. I love the art work on the walls and everywhere you look. The food! The food was very good too.

All around excellent. The staff were very helpful and top notch Food was amazeballs...definitely going back!

Locally owned family restaurant. Everything is made to order, so be patient! Very small place, so go early to get a seat- also, available seats outside. Delicious salsa with the perfect spice. Hot homemade chips, excellent guacamole and bean dip. XL steak burrito with diced potatoes is amazing!
