Except tasty chicken wings the main Food as u can see on picture, looks just disgusting and unfortunately taste also bad. Yes that how plate was served ; . Employes were really nice tho. So if u want just sit and drink while eating chicken wings then its a nice place

Poor service and inconsistent food. Then again, it's Mexican good in Groningen... Order was wrong on more than one occasion, but wasn't critical.

My absolute favorite restaurant in the city of Groningen!!! I have tried hard to find a mexican restaurant in Amsterdam (my current home town) which can even compare to Cantina, and sadly I haven't found it. So to be able to eat great food in a brilliant looking restaurant with many floors, a lovely roof top terrace, and a very nice quirky details on the walls and ceiling, I need to travel over 2 hours by train. And I have to say......Every now and then it is absolutely worth it. They also have killer cocktails!!

Beautiful relaxed feeling and Mexican decoration inside. on this lazy Sunday was the off-duty staff outside, where there was also a pleasant atmosphere. the roof terrace was closed due to lack of customers, so we sat outside in front of the restaurant where they have a beautiful view of the central market of groningen. the staff was very friendly and attentive enough. starters arrived fast. the food tasted very good, even though a little hard on the cheese. loved the guacamole and homemade chocolate cake. there are a lot of vegetarian options. the prices are somewhat high, especially the alcoholic drinks, but it is a central location.
