Romano's Macaroni Grill - Winter Garden

I wasn't in macaroni grill in like 6 years and I had forgotten how good she was eating. eating was very good. all at my party enjoyed their eating. the waiter, dan, offers a great service.

The personal was very attentive. the meals arrived immediately and were delicious.

It was so nice that they remained open on Christmas Day for travelers and out of town visitors (our status) that don’t have the resources to cook! Service was excellent! The seating host at the front was overwhelmed, but doing a great job. Some people were becoming rude over the wait time and we felt sorry for him, but he was doing his best! Chill, people! It’s Christmas!

We were a party of four on Christmas Day 2022. The host was a busboy they had lassoed into the job, and he was a mess. It took 15 minutes of him running around for him to even look up and acknowledge our existence, even though were standing right next to the host podium, and then he told us it would be another 10 minutes to be seated, even though the dining room was only one-third full. The entire room was freezing and after 20 minutes into the meal, I asked our server why, and she was very candid that the heat was broken and the manager had been up on the roof earlier that day trying to get it working. Every diner in the room was bundled up in full overcoats, including us; it was quite the sight. Really, we couldn't stop laughing about it. Even though we didn't order wine, the server never picked up the wine menu and wine glasses, and since they were in our way on our small dining table, I picked them up myself and moved them to a table by the kitchen. My medium-rare steak arrived at room temperature and cooked to just under rare, so I sent it back and got the same steak hot and at medium-well. It being Christmas during a worldwide labor shortage, I had low expectations, but this place still managed to fall quite short of them. Really I was just trying to avoid that old Christmas stand-by of last resort, TGI Fridays. Last time I will EVER go to a Macaroni Grill. EVER EVER EVER.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner and it was delicious! They also let us order extra entrees to go so we would have leftovers. We really appreciated the service.
