Urban Flats - Winter Garden

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Old Winter Garden because they use locally sourced ingredients and their menu changes with the seasons. The urban salad is my absolute favorite! It includes golden raisins, sunflower seeds, goat cheese, and honey vinaigrette. It is delicious! I like to pair it with the salmon, which is both juicy and crispy. The prices on the menu are fair given the quality and portion sizes. I have always had a great experience with their food and usually end up with leftovers. The service and atmosphere are top-notch, with servers going above and beyond to ensure a positive dining experience. The comfortable booths and dim lighting make it a cozy spot to enjoy a meal with loved ones. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I am very disappointed with this restaurant. I am currently sitting here writing this review while waiting for over 20 minutes for our bill. My husband and I were walking in downtown Winter Garden and trying to decide where to eat. I saw that this place had good reviews, so we decided to check it out. We were quickly seated outside, but had to wait 25+ minutes for someone to take our order. After waiting for 20 minutes, my husband had to walk to the hostess stand to ask if there was a server for our section. Another hostess noticed our frustration and asked if we had been helped yet. I read several reviews during this time and many mentioned that the service is slow. The food was just okay. I ordered the French dip and my husband ordered the burger. He thought the burger was average and not big enough to be sliced in half. My French dip was also average, with half of the sandwich having a good amount of meat and the other half mostly fat. I chose the mushroom Brie soup instead of a salad, which was probably the best part of the meal.

Service was excellent. Food and prices, not so much. I loved this place when it was Urban Flats. It is a completely new menu. We ordered the salmon egg rolls and they were just okay. Greasy and not something I would order again. Then we tried the black and blue flatbread. It 's hard to describe the crust but I will give it a try. Thin, flavorless, and didn 't enjoy it. Way too many chopped red peppers. For some reason that was the main ingredient. I couldn 't eat but a few bites. I won 't be back. Too many darling places to check out in this area of Winter Garden. The beer was cold and server was awesome.

Food is okay, and I mean that, it's just okay. Nothing spectacular, nothing wrong with it, just okay. The service is atrocious. Wife and I were seated for over twenty minutes before I went and asked the front desk if there was a waiter or waitress serving my area, took another five after that. The vibe is pretty cool, I had high hopes. I'll try it again another time bc I really wanna like the place but it was disappointing.

The service was fantastic. Our server, River, was so nice and did an amazing job taking our order and getting us our food! The food was phenomenal! I got the salmon BLT with the mushroom mac and cheese.
