Wendy's - Winter Garden

The food was neither hot nor fresh, and the wait time at the drive-thru was excessively long, particularly for a restaurant that wasn't very crowded. Rating: 2/5.

I visited this location on May 22nd and was shocked by what I saw. There was a girl in the back who, instead of preparing orders, kept reaching into a container of apples meant for salads and eating the pieces with her gloved hand. She did this at least ten times, putting her unclean hand into the fresh food and then directly to her mouth, completely unaware that customers were watching. To make matters worse, she then prepared a burger using the same glove she had been eating with. I will never return to this establishment. While I understand that things can happen behind the scenes, if they show such a blatant disregard for cleanliness in front of customers, I can only imagine how unsanitary it must be when we aren't looking.

I was surprised to see how much this restaurant has deteriorated. All of the ordering kiosks were out of service, one of the drink machines was broken, and they were out of chili. Moreover, the tables were not clean at all. I felt quite uncomfortable being there, which is disappointing because this used to be my go-to spot. I'm thinking about trying a different fast food place nearby, especially with so many new options popping up. Food rating: 3/5.

Why is the employee holding their dirty cell phone with the same gloves they make food with? Also, Literally every single time I get the spicy chicken it is overcooked and rubbery. Why is this so hard to get it right? And why do they forget silverware and sour cream every single time, how am I supposed to eat the sour cream and chive-baked potato?

I don't know what to say about this store. And I don't like to give negative reviews, but today is the day, it's been a long hot day for me and nd my helper and we have a couple more hours to go to be done with it. We stop by Wendy's for a bite to eat. As we approach the counter I see a young lady behind the counter looking towards the cooks and the line, the place isn't very busy and I assumed she was just waiting on an order for the drive-thru and just didn't see us at the counter. Apparently that wasn't the case she was actually calling for someone to come up and take our order. So out of the back this gentleman comes walking up to the register looking a little Bleak and a little tired, I said hello good evening how are you? He just gave me a look and said how may I help you, or what can I get for you something like that, no hi I'm fine good afternoon good evening nothing. He takes my order my helpers order and my payment gives me my receipt and walks away without saying another word. I shrugged it off and thought maybe he's having a bad day and went to wash up and get my condiments ready for my food. No one asked whether we were eating here or to go, and our food was ready and we were called to retrieve it by the letter B1 because once again you guessed it no one asked us a name for the order so that they could call us by name. (Again I guess we were lucky that it wasn't very busy and we were the only ones ordering food). They were in to-go bags and we were dining in. Again no biggie. And so were my biggie fries! They too were no biggie lol... And every little cold and Greasy. I just chalked it up to my day and how it was going so far. I hope things get better for him and as far as the other employees they appeared to be doing a great job. (Except for making sure the fries were fresh before going out) lol
