Andy's Igloo Drive-in - Winter Haven

This place has always been fantastic when it comes to their shakes! It had been a few years since my last visit, but the family-friendly atmosphere and incredible food are still the same. My husband and I were so hungry that I forgot to take any photos! He ordered the fried oyster basket and said they were delicious. I enjoyed the BBQ pork sandwich basket with fries topped with chili cheese—it was amazing! I also had my all-time favorite strawberry banana shake, which I let my husband taste, and he loved it so much that he ordered the banana split shake for himself. He was in heaven! Seriously, if you're in the area, you should definitely stop by for a shake. You won't be disappointed! Keep up the great work!

What a delightful surprise on our way back from Legoland! The food was fantastic, and the service was spot on.

This restaurant is one of my husband's favorites. The food is delicious and affordable. I particularly enjoy the pot roast, though I find it takes days to finish my lunch! Today, I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection. I had sweet potatoes on the side, and I was surprised to find they were served as waffles. They were well-prepared and not greasy at all. My husband opted for the shrimp basket, and the shrimp was cooked just right. If you're a fan of butterscotch, you must try the milkshake. For those who love mocha flavors, the coffee ice cream is a great choice, and it even comes with fudge chunks and peanut butter cups. There's nothing to complain about here! The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the food is both tasty and inexpensive.

If you are from the city and want a great and reasonable place to eat when in Winter Haven I highly recommend Andy's. Not unusual, but very clean. They have been in the same position since 1951! From the moment you go until you feel welcome. Staff are very friendly and efficient and other patrons are especially locals and love speak with people and are also very friendly. Check the menu prices online. Very reasonable and you get enough food for 2 meals. I'll go back there when I'm in Winter Haven.

We got ice cream and it was all delicious. I got a cookies and cream shake, my husband got rocky road ice cream cone and my son got a swirl soft serve. The ice cream was amazing we will be back!
