My mother and I split the veal with artichokes and a lemon wine sauce we received a veal piccatta my mother's drink sat empty 1 to many times! The atmosphere is wonderful as always but the service could absolutely be better! The male bartender (can't remember his name) absolutely saved the night with his service and the drinks where always good just need to work on the timeliness of the services!
Couple of caveats: most spots in Winter Haven close early. We've had a lot of growth in WH the past 24 months. I am approaching this review from the perspective of just wanting a late night (for WH) spot that was low key. Ave bar is the best pizza and drinks spot. Great location downtown. It should be more busy than it is, which is the reason I say low key. Quality of food is superb. Lots of attention to detail. The drinks are crafted. Love this spot.
Great atmosphere! friendly service and excellent food. great idea as they can order from the two remaining ruins that are connected to the bar. I'd go back.
Great little bar in Winterhaven with some fantastic food options. It is connected to both Arabella’s for finer dining and also a pizza place, so there is plenty of food to choose from. Very great bar menu during happy hour. I especially love the bruschetta here as well as the Fiocchi. it is very popular and on the small side, so getting us you can be a challenge on usually pretty loud in there so not a good place to go if you want a peaceful night out.
I 've traveled widely and recognize skill behind bar. Even though busy, Logan didn 't hesitate to cheerfully experiment with my Martiki expresso suggestion. This establishment has some creative above the line offerings and plenty of essential ingredients as well as the fine tools needed for crafting a quality tipple. They could use some acoustic panels to dampen the boisterous atmosphere (NOISE), but otherwise this is a great bar with a talented mixologist sandwiched between awesome pizza and fine dining. Cheers!
