Lake Ashton Golf Club - Winter Haven

Visited a friend looks like a really nice golf course .

This is a members-only golf course located in the 55+ community of Lake Ashton. The layout is tight and narrow, with plenty of opportunities for penalty shots for out-of-bounds hits. The golf shop has a friendly atmosphere, and you'll find many older players enjoying the game.

My husband and I rented a home in the area last January 2021 while considering Lake Ashton for a potential purchase to enjoy our winters as snowbirds. Initially, my husband was hesitant about moving to an over-55 community since we were used to living on a large property in New Jersey. However, once we passed through the entry gates, we were completely amazed! The grounds were stunning and impeccably maintained, and the homes were simply beautiful. With so many amenities available, we quickly realized that we would love it there. Within just a few days, we decided to purchase a building lot. The pre-construction process was smooth, and the office staff were incredibly helpful. Each time we visited our construction site, we found the community members to be very friendly. The food at both restaurants is delicious, and the golf courses are beautifully maintained. I could go on and on about our positive experience. We can’t wait to move down and explore the community further. We’re confident we made the right choice to spend our winters there!

Absolutely fantastic! Trivia night here is always a blast. The meatloaf, baked potatoes, glazed carrots, and salad were all outstanding. You really can’t beat the price of $9.50 for all-you-can-eat. The staff does an amazing job keeping a full house happy with food and drinks. If you haven’t been to the Eagles Nest for food or drinks, you’re definitely missing out!
