The café has a nice selection of both raw and regular vegan items. I ordered a raw pizza, and Thomas chose the "Niceburger." We also ordered guacamole and chips, but unfortunately, the avocados weren't ripe enough. Thomas said his burger was good. It was served on a lightly toasted multigrain bun with salad, tomatoes, and a vegan mayo. He also thought there might have been a pickle on it, along with a generous portion of round corn tortilla chips arranged around the plate. As for my raw pizza, it was fantastic! It was a large square of dehydrated bread, cut in half to form two big triangles. It had a thin layer of raw hummus and was topped with plenty of finely chopped greens (which I loved!). I can't recall all the toppings (I wish I had taken photos), but there might have been tomatoes on it too. The pizza was garnished with a generous amount of dehydrated starfruit discs, which complemented the flavors beautifully. I enjoyed them so much that I kept adding them to my pizza bites—so good! I couldn’t stop talking about it all day. After our meal, we did a little shopping. The food and freezer section was stocked with all sorts of vegan foods that I had never seen before and that my usual grocery store does not carry. I chatted with the owner, who was super nice. Apparently, they have been in this location since 1992 and have expanded over the years. If you find yourself in the area, this is definitely a place to check out. Just a heads up: while the service was a bit slow, that seems to be common at all raw places I’ve visited. You can see the full review on cameraphonevegan.com [insert link].
This is a small café located inside a grocery store. The food is excellent, but my only concern is that the service can be a bit slow. So, if you're planning to eat here, it's better to allow for a longer lunch break or place your order in advance. It’s not a fast-food restaurant. The soup is amazing, and there are plenty of options available, including gluten-free choices. The staff is also very friendly.
