San Diego's Mexican Grill And Sport

The restaurant wasn't anything exceptional. It was quite hot inside, which might be uncomfortable for those visiting from out of town. The salsa was decent, but the queso was really good. The service was friendly, and the place was clean with some fun decor. We ordered a beef burrito and a beef quesadilla, but both were just okay. The burrito had hamburger meat inside with cheese melted on top—nothing special. The kids' nuggets were well-cooked, but overall, I probably won’t be returning.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, and while the food was fantastic, the service left a lot to be desired. Our waitress was nice and polite, but she mentioned that other staff members would be responsible for bringing us water and salsa. Unfortunately, those employees seemed more focused on their phone conversations and provided no assistance. The standout was definitely Victor—he deserves five stars on his own. Even though he wasn't our server, he took great care of us, far surpassing the attention we received from our actual server. We had to ask multiple times for the basics from other staff. If you're looking for delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere, but can overlook poor service, this might be the place for you.

I visited tonight, and everything was fantastic. The restaurant was clean, and both the service and food were excellent! They had a beautiful selection of dishes on the menu, and the prices were very reasonable. Our waiter, Victor, was friendly and attentive. We have definitely found a new favorite Mexican restaurant!

Hubby and I visited this bar and barbecue a few times. The food is delicious. Margaritas as well.ok.

Great place to stop in and grab a bite. The service is good too. Late afternoon just did a Supreme nachos which was delicious. My Margarita tasted more like Margarita mix than Margarita... but all in all I had a really good experience and the food was great.
