Manta - Winterthur

This restaurant is a winter thur establishment. They have Italian style panini hot sandwiches, with a variety of creative combinations of delicious ingredients. The Manta Bar on the Neuwiesenstrasse also offers pasta boxes and has two or three hot main dishes for lunch Monday to Friday....You order at the counter and take your food on a tray to an available table. I hear the sandwiches are excellent. Gluten-free options are very limited here, but there is a nice selection of salads.

Winterthur has four of these stylish, welcoming cafés/restaurants that offer sandwiches, light lunch and good baking. What I tried is located in the post office on the railway station square opposite the main railway station, which is open on Saturday, unlike the listed Neuwiesenstrasse site. Tasty panini... filled with good ingredients probably in another place that comes from the food supply I saw arriving, but also costly according to Swiss standards for what it is.

Large selection of delicious hot sandwiches and pasta lunches to take away or eat there. Efficient service with a lot of indoor and protected outdoor seats. Very recommended.

Somewhere between 15-20 different sandwiches to choose from and most are really good but I have not been able to try them all.
