I stood there for about eight minutes before anyone noticed me. 2. Eventually, a server noticed and seemed annoyed by my presence. She handed me a menu and quickly showed me to a booth without much interaction. I couldn’t help but notice that the kitchen music was significantly louder than the background music meant for diners. 3. The booth had unsightly marks on the wall, resembling remnants of something unpleasant, and my menu was sticky with dried foods. My appetite started to fade. 4. The waitress brought a drink menu since I had only ordered water but I decided to try a traditional mint mojito. I placed my food and drink order. 5. She brought my chips and salsa first, followed shortly by my food and drink. She rushed off as soon as she set them down. I took a sip of the drink and realized there was no mint in it — it tasted just like a margarita. 6. As I enjoyed my chips and salsa, I found a small hair in the salsa, so I decided to stop eating that. I was hoping the waitress would check in on my meal. 7. When she finally returned and asked how everything was, I told her that the drink was definitely not a mojito. She took it back, and I asked her to just remove it instead of remaking it. She mentioned that the manager would take care of that. 8. As I took a few more bites of my food, I realized I was really not enjoying this experience, especially since I had visited before. I was getting quite upset, but being alone, I didn’t want to draw attention from the group at the neighboring table. 9. I asked for my check and told the waitress that while I didn’t blame her, the state of the booth really affected my appetite. She mentioned that she'd inform her manager, and I expressed my concern about what the kitchen might look like. 10. While I was signing the check, I noticed the restaurant was nearly empty, with everyone still loud and busy in the kitchen. The manager had given me a $1 discount on my meal. With so few customers, I couldn’t help but think that this place seems to be going downhill. I noticed salsa splattered on some dining chairs that could have easily been cleaned. I doubt I’ll give this location another chance anytime soon. I’m making an effort to not be overly critical, but I had high expectations as a manager in the cleanliness industry. First impressions often matter, and I hope someone in management sees my feedback on various platforms. Unfortunately, when I called earlier today, I learned that the manager on duty wouldn’t be there until around 5 PM. I still left a tip for the server, but overall, this was the worst dining experience I’ve had in many years.
As an out-of-towner, I like to read reviews before trying a new place, and I have to agree with what everyone is saying... THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of the family. The manager warmly greets you at the door, and the servers offer helpful suggestions. The restaurant has a vibrant and fun atmosphere—I walked in just as the whole restaurant was singing "Happy Birthday" to a guest. We were seated immediately and received our orders in no time. Our food arrived quickly, and it was hot, fresh, and exactly what we ordered! Our server was attentive without being overbearing, ensuring we had everything we needed. I enjoyed the Pollo Sinaloense and a delicious Horchata. Every bite was fantastic! If you keep making food like this, you’ve just gained a lifelong customer. GREAT JOB, EVERYONE!
Extreme lack of cleanliness the windows look like they've never been cleaned. The windowsill was covered in dead flies stains are all over the walls, grossed myself out while eating thinking about how unclean the environment is services is fine food is good.
Thank you Alex for taking good care of us! They have great margaritas and we enjoy the guacamole. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I've been coming to this restaurant 3-4 times a month for a couple years. Food is always great. Service is generally ok. But they play the music FAR too loud. When they turn it on, it is obnoxious. If you like to read while you eat, like me, don't go here. If you want to visit with a friend, you both will have to repeat yourselves to hear each other over the noise. If you like loud Mexican music, you'll be fine. I shared this with the manager today. She couldn't care less and refused to turn the volume down.
