Papa Johns Pizza - Winterville

I would give Papa John's zero stars if I could. My order was abandoned by the delivery person. When I tried to check on the delivery time, the automated message said it would arrive between 9:23 and 9:33 pm. It is now 10:09 pm and I still haven't received my food. When we called Papa John's, they were closed. This is ridiculous! I will never order from them again. Stick with Pizza Hut on Fire Tower, their service is much better. We have never had this issue with a delivery service before.

These are the worst dad jokes I have ever encountered. Initially, we ordered a pizza for delivery and they only brought us one of the pizzas we had ordered. They mentioned that we would receive a credit for it, so the following week we decided to give them another chance. However, when we tried to use the credit, it was not on our account. After a lengthy phone call to place an order, the delivery person arrived over an hour late and demanded payment. They then took back the pizzas and informed us that we could not order from them again or they would return the pizzas to the store. I will never order from this place again.

That Papa John's is absolutely awful - I wouldn't even bother. When we placed our initial order, they only delivered one medium pizza instead of the two large pizzas we had ordered. Additionally, we paid for extra sauces that were never delivered. When we called to inquire about our missing items, a woman on the phone promised us two free pizzas for the following week to make up for the mistake. However, when we called the next week to claim our free pizzas, we were met with confusion and could not get anyone to properly address our issue. It took numerous phone calls to finally place our order, and when the pizzas arrived, we were charged for them despite being told they were complimentary. They even tried to take back the pizzas when we refused to pay again. We waited for hours and still didn't receive the correct order, causing our dinner to be over an hour late not just once, but twice. This whole ordeal was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. Save yourself the hassle and order from Domino's instead. I would much rather eat Pizza Hut than deal with them again.

A very good service. they have massacred our order and wasted our time two weeks behind each other. for the first time they did not bring our whole order, so we asked to be compensated. they agreed and said that we would be able to get our same order for another time free. we have chosen this offer this week. they showed up 2 hours after the call and refused to give us our pizza without paying, although we had talked to the manager on the phone and they should be free.

I wish I could give zero stars to this place. I come in as a dasher opened our pizza boxes and I called to get it replaced. First red flag, manager on the phone is all “well what do you want me to do about it.” Nonetheless, I still go with the replacement and come to pick it up due to a long wait if I chose delivery. When I get there, there is already 5-7 people in there waiting and no one is saying anything but I assume the manager, starts saying “I don’t like these rude customers..” somewhere along the line of calling us rude. Cashier is on her phone as a customer is trying to talk to her. Manager is still walking around calling us rude and wanting to get us out of there. Never have I been in an establishment this chaotic and awful. I’ve been ordering from PJ’s for a while but this was the first time I came into the establishment. If this review can save you a few extra bucks or avoid the hassle of driving here, please don’t come here. Go to pizza hut right across from them. Ridiculous. I never comment but I had to this time Let me add, I chose to only get one pizza replaced because I did not want to deal with the HASSLE and rudeness from that manager.
