The hostess asked if we wanted seats in the shade or out in the sun, we asked for shade seats. She proceeded to bring us to a table directly in the sun and seat two other couples in the shaded seats after us. Our server was a young gentleman. The service was extremely slow, it took about 10 minutes to get a drink order, and another 10 minutes after that just to get our food in. After more than an hour waiting, we never received any food. We asked our waiter about it and he said it should be right up. We waited another 10 minutes and told him that we wanted the check and to leave as we saw multiple tables that sat down over an hour after us get there food and we had been at the restaurant for over 1.5 hours. Another ten minutes went by without the check. Then our server tried to bring us our food instead of the check. We refused the food and asked him simply for the check we asked for 10 minutes prior. We paid full price for four beers to wait for food for almost 2 hours that never came. There was no attempt at remedying the situation, no explanation. All the server could say was I don 't know what happened . Needless to say I do not recommend coming here. At least the beer was cold?
Excellent food. We ordered the fish and chips and a side salad which was amazing. The Burger was also wonderful. Food was hot when it hit the table, staff was very nice and we had a pretty table out for n the patio and sat right along the river. I HIGHLY urge you to stop here and grab a bite.
A favorite stop winter, summer or fall usually after some kind of fun outdoor activity. We especially enjoy stopping in after a winter day of cross country skiing. We usually have a lot of company. It's a fun pub atmosphere with quality beer and simple food, mostly burgers, salads and sandwiches. Outdoor seating looking out at the river is terrific during the warm weather and there is a small stage for live music out back. Stop in for a Ruud awakening IPA with your new friends.
This cute little restaurant sits on the river, we set on the back patio lower deck and enjoyed the view. I ordered the Arrow Amber and it was a well crafted beer, and the Fish and Chips was probably the best I've ever had. Fresh Pacific Cod, battered in ale and panko breading, perfectly fried and crispy served with garlic fries that were on point! My friend got the Old Schoolhouse burger and the other a salad and were both very pleased! The whole town is a cute lil western town well worth a visit!
Cool spot in a cool town (old Wild West themed). It was getting hot out and we decided to duck in for some air conditioning and cold beer. It was right around lunch time and they were busy, but we found a seat and proceeded to the bar to place our order. We ordered a flight of beer to try some different styles. The bartender was great, even though she was busy.. I didn't have to wait long. The beers were good and the old schoolhouse motif was cool. They also have food, but we had just eaten lunch.. the food looked good. We would definitely come back for another beer and/or to try the food.
