Poppy's Pizza On Main 19 - Winthrop

Good fresh pizza and friendly staff. Was skeptical from the beginning when we chose the Flamin ' Hawaiian pizza. I am just not that big of a fan of Canadian bacon. For those unfamiliar, Canadian bacon is not ham, similar however, Canadian bacon is a loin cut and hams come from the butt and hind legs. I do not prefer either. Poppy 's did not just place slices on either, they were cut up in nice sized pieces. Personally I still removed some of the pieces, maybe favoring the dog waiting outside, but really enjoyed the pizza as made. A fella named Ben was working and took a moment to check in with us and even answered a couple questions with a smile. I recommend giving the pizza here at Poppy 's a shot.

I've been here a couple of times since they opened and was not disappointed with either visit. The sauce is some of the best sauce I've had in several years and is obviously NOT a pre-made sauce. The hand stretched dough is the basis of a much better than average pizza, and the wings are HUGE as well as have an awesome flavor.

We ate there the last two days and we were impressed!!!!! Their Buffalo chicken pizza is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!

The pizza is so yummy!! I love their Reuben pizza and Poppy sticks!!

Is a great place to eat. Great presentation great taste the crust is different but good. The only bad thing I would have to say about the place with my crust was a little more done than what I like on a pizza.
