Shoreside Cafe - Winthrop

I was in the area so decided to drop by. I got a dirty chai with coconut milk, for some reason it rang up as $10.63? which is obviously ridiculous for a drink but I was in a rush so I just went with it and added a tip. $12.22 was the total. The actualdrink was watery, bitter, and there was barely any coconut milk in it. I don?t usually make a fuss out of these things but ipaid $10. I went back up to the counter and asked if I could get another drink since it was watery but the lady who rang me uplooked at me with an attitude and explained to me that?s just how the drink is. But complied and I got a matcha latte withoatmilk. After I ordered it I looked back at the drink menu and the dirty chai is actually about $6. Im pretty sure she chargedme extra for the shots of espresso which doesn?t make any sense since it should already come with the drink? Anyway, the matchawas the worst matcha latte I?ve ever gotten. Could barely taste the matcha and for some reason it tasted a little salty. If yadon?t know how to make a proper matcha, you really shouldn?t try. It?s just insulting? I really had to go so I just left. Ihaven?t tried anything else from the menu but that was my experience.

Great local coffee shop! Been here a few times to grab coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and their fig and Brie sandwich is very good too! My pup also likes to come here as they often give him treats. They also have a bowl of water out for pups during thewarmer months. Anytime we walk by when they?re closed, he patiently waits on their doorstep hoping to get a treat. Stop here ifyou?re in Winthrop and then head over to the beach afterwards!

I had a great experience at this café. The staff and owner are extremely friendly, and the food and drinks are excellent. I ordered a waffle with fruit and whipped cream, as well as a chai latte, and both were delicious. The waffle was even better than the one at the 4 Seasons. My dad had a fantastic tuna wrap that was incredibly fresh and tasty. Additionally, the public restroom was exceptionally clean and pleasantly scented.

The coffee is delicious and robust, the smoothies are excellent, and the lunch menu offers a variety of tasty sandwiches. My children enjoy the muffins and acai bowls. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The setting is also beautiful.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and each time the food has been excellent, the atmosphere is charming and lively. The staff and overall environment make it a delightful experience. The bathroom even smells wonderful. I absolutely love the dirty chai drink - it's my favorite! I highly recommend this place.
