Georgio's Fish Chips - WIRRAL

Has the restaurant changed ownership? This place used to be a favorite for us. The portions used to be large, flavorful, and fresh. However, on our recent visit, the portions were cold and small, with more salt and vinegar than actual chips. The gravy was watery and we had to wait a long time because the kitchen was backed up. We were really disappointed and hope that this was just a one-time bad experience.

The restaurant was very costly. I might as well have gone to a different restaurant. I paid £13.60 for a fish, chips, curry, and a can of soda. Was it worth the price? I'm not convinced. It wasn't the best meal I've ever had, just very average.

The staff at this restaurant is aware of my need for oxygen, and when I arrive, the manager personally comes out to assist me. They are very considerate. The manager takes my order and has one of the servers bring it out to me. The fish and chips here are the best I have tried in a long time!

Always love our fish and chips from here. We ring ahead and then pick up, easy. It is the only chip shop my husband will go to.
