Great pub, always feel safe in here even when on my own. Regulars really look after you. Vicky and her team are fab, you can always have a laugh with them.

This pub has a fantastic and welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent value for money and there is a wide variety of drinks to choose from. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future.

My family and I visited Johnny Pye for dinner on Saturday. I ordered a burger and chips and it was delicious! The burger sauce was fantastic. The presentation of the food was better than any other pub meal I've had. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back!

My wife, our son, and I decided to take a drive from St Helens to the Wirral on a nice day during the May bank holiday. When we reached Heswall and started feeling hungry, we parked near the Johnny Pye pub. The pub seemed inviting, so we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a great choice! The bartender was welcoming and friendly, and the pub itself was clean and nicely decorated. Our food was served quickly and the portions were generous. We all enjoyed our starters and main meals, which were very reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
