Welcome Takeaway - WIRRAL

I can't get enough of The Welcome Takeaway!! I have been ordering half a duck at least once a week it's amazing! The veg is always fresh to go with the pancakes and the duck has enough meat to feed an army. My favourite though is the crispy seaweed. Would definitely recommend! :

Absolutely terrible food, poor quality chips they were hard and more like cheap oven chips, the prawn toast was rock hard and extremely greasy and tasteless not fit for a dog, the spring rolls were not cooked properly and the out layer of ‘crispy’ batter was thick and not at all crispy it was like having Yorkshire pudding mix uncooked, disgusting, the chicken wings were not fresh and also looked like they had been pulled out the freezer. The chicken and sweet corn soup was green I have never seen anything like, looked like frog poison and the chicken in the soup was highly processed, no spring onion in it or any form of little extras on any of the dishes, I would go as far as to say this is the worst meal I have ever eaten in my life, extremely disappointing when you look forward to a treat at the weekend and a night off cooking. The woman was also very rude. Wouldn’t go back if someone paid me.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. They are exploiting the pandemic to serve low-quality, inedible food while great local restaurants have been forced to close. The woman I complained to was incredibly rude, refusing to let me speak and hanging up on me. It's unacceptable to conduct business with such a disrespectful attitude. I am shocked and disgusted by the behavior of the staff. I will be warning others about this place and will never eat here again. It seems I am the first customer to ever complain, which is concerning.

The food we received was cold and inedible. The meat was fatty, the noodles were greasy, and overall it was tasteless. When we called to complain, the owner's attitude was unbelievable - she was rude and even hung up on us! When we returned the food, she yelled at us and said we were the worst customers ever. We have ordered from this restaurant before and found the food to be very good.

I decided to treat myself by ordering from this takeout restaurant, but unfortunately, the dish I ordered, a garlic sauce dish, did not taste as expected. I chose this dish because I wanted something savory, as I found all the other dishes to be too sweet for my liking. However, the garlic sauce dish ended up tasting similar to the other dishes on the menu.
