The owner of the chip shop is very considerate when it comes to catering for allergies and vegetarians. They serve a delicious vegetable curry and can also make vegan chips upon request. We always enjoy our meals there as the portion sizes are generous. It's a great place to treat the family to a delicious meal at an affordable price.

The only place we ever visit for Chinese Takeaway. Staff always happy friendly and polite. Menu is fantastic everything we have ever tried has always been delicious.

First of all that other review is nonsense, to give a low review for using halal when advertised is ridiculous and unfair on the quality of the food. The food here is about standard price for a takeaway although the large portions are very large! More important than the quantity is the quality and I must say that for a takeaway it does have some really nice food. They use a high quality of product in their cooking without any of the additives that other takeaways use (the ones that leave a funny taste in your mouth and make you thirsty after the meal) and that in itself ranks this above the average for me! As with everywhere some things on the menu rank higher than the others. The sweet and sour and soups arnt bad but ive had better but the lemon chicken and chow mein are second to none! Could go on and on about what to get but even the regular english chip shop food from here is really nice. Definitely a good chip shop to have locally! Oh and on a side note the staff are very friendly too (just a small thing that adds to the limited service a chip shop offers)

I was very surprised to order a meal from there and upon picking up my meal noticed a sign indicating they only use halal chicken. Sorry, I don't agree with the method they are slaughtered so will not be ordering from there again.

I waited an hour for my food when they told me it would only take half an hour. When I called to inquire about my order, I found out that they hadn't even started making it. There was no apology or explanation given, and their attitude was very unpleasant. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
