Otto's Supper Club - WISCONSIN DELLS

Not a Supper Club in the most traditional sense, but more a small town steak joint, with a small, diverse menu. Very friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. Menu includes a few steaks, a couple seafood entrees, chicken, several sandwiches, and pizza. Our group had a little of everything (except pizza). Everyone was happy with their choice the burger and tenderloin sandwiches seemed small, but only in diameter (they were thick instead) Before we started, we all intended to order dessert (home made desserts), but food was so good and plentiful that no one had room. Prices were competitive... portions were large.

While a bit off the beaten path, Otto's isn't far away. The fact that it IS off the beaten path is one of the things that makes Otto's enjoyable it is a nice break from the hustle, bustle and commercialization of the Dells. You also get the sense that many locals favor Otto's. We were greeted at the door and had about a 30 minute wait for a party of 4 on a Friday night in June. Well worth the wait. The fish fry was delicious according to my dining companions and my husband said the fried bluegill was the best he has ever had. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and got a HUGE portion. 2 chicken breasts in a delicious wine sauce over a bed piled high of pasta. Most chicken marsalas leave you chasing 2 or 3 mushrooms that are scattered in the sauce not at Otto's. The dish featured plenty of mushrooms and sauce and the food was cooked perfectly. Reasonable cocktail prices, reasonable food prices, delicious food and classic Supper club atmosphere. And while I have nothing against kids, the place wasn't over run with kids which was a nice break from everything else in the Dells. Highly recommended.

A great little low key supper club style a few miles outside of the Dells on Hwy 16. We were welcomed with all smiles and were seated by the window. There is a cute little bar.The dining room is kind of small with retro tables and chairs/no booths. We started with some classic cocktails-The cocktails were good and a good value! We all had the prime rib special with jumbo shrimp. Everything was delicious flavorful and cooked the way we ordered it. We really enjoyed our server and the all around wonderful warm service! A nice,casual time with good food and genuinely awesome local service. We all want to come back and try their fish fry!

Open under new management. Drinks are very reasonable. Fish fry was awesome. Staff was attentive and friendly. We will be back again!

The food was excellent; we both chose the fish fry, which was delicious. However, the service was a bit slower than usual tonight, likely because it was busy due to Friday fish fry night. I would suggest making a reservation or perhaps arriving earlier in the evening, as they open at 4 PM.
