The Terrace - Wisley

Decided to taste the restaurant terrace on a bank holiday when the waiting queue for the dining room was quite large, and I am glad that I did. the personal was very courteous for our small child and child car, and we could get a table directly to lunch (table for 4 along the wall). really enjoyed the winter menu, including dessert, and the portions were a good size, both for adult and the child. hopefully will go again.

Tonight had a family dinner after a tour through the 'glow' garden lights. her 2-course menu offers excellent options. u had the smoked mackerel pate and roast turkey dinner that was perfectly cooked. the child menu included fish fingers that looked homemade and that the 4 year old loved in our group. the service was initially slow, but fast from the manager matt when we mentioned our hunger and tiredness. he was incredibly professional. we eat here regularly and love the atmosphere and consistently good eating.

Excellent setting for a special meal, great service and a lovely menu. Staff are always so welcoming and attentive. The food is delicious and beautifully presented- the outdoor section is our “go-to” treat for a meal and people watch. Definitely recommend- you get what you pay for!

The staff at the restaurant is very courteous and friendly. The ambiance is light, airy, and beautifully decorated. The set menu is reasonably priced. The presentation of the food was impressive; however, the tomato soup was a bit watery and lacking in seasoning, while the sea bass linguine was overly seasoned. Despite these issues, I would still recommend trying this restaurant, and I will definitely return when visiting the gardens, as there is room for improvement.

Excellent service and great value! I stopped here for lunch while exploring Wisley Gardens, and I was pleasantly surprised by their lunch menu: two courses for £20 or three for £25. We were warmly welcomed by a cheerful lady who showed us to our table and even rearranged it to catch the sunshine. For my starter, I had the salmon, which was a generous portion and absolutely delicious, beautifully plated as well. For the main course, I opted for the cod while my partner tried the beetroot vegan burger, both of which were delightful. The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking to dine at Wisley; it offers the best value for money. While there are more casual options nearby, the food quality at those places simply doesn't compare.
