I was here in summer 2015 and the waitress up was a wonderful person. so helpful, so nice. Even when we got in, the atmosphere was very nice. with her service it was great. just eating. I saw myself in 1986. large portioning, very good quality of raw materials used. the service on the teller was more than old-fashioned and that was cute as in the school kitchen. it was a great difference when they see the interieur of the restaurant and the work of the staff. or whether it should show the kitchen of the years 1950 - 1989? in this case 100% success.

The restaurant alt schwede is located at the main square of the wismarer old town. the restaurant is located in an old historical building and serves mainly German kitchen. we had the butter plate, a beautiful mix of smoked salmon, matjes, roll mops, salates and eggs. to this court they serve a shot of local schnapps.

At a walk in wismar we came to the marketplace and decided to turn to a drink here. it is a great place to sit outside and see the world passing (there is also an inner.) there is also a great view of the place. we decided to sit outside and drink something, and I found the prices reasonable (one wein cost 4.5 € and a 1/2 liter beer 4.00 €). we didn't eat, but I looked at the menu and it looked good and was reasonable again. this building is one of the older civic houses in wismar from the year 1380! it has an interesting brick facade with many windows. in any case worth a visit.
