Totally shocked by the rude treatment from two of the waitresses. We ordered the Express lunch....one course, no coffee. A long wait for everything...ordering drinks, ordering food, food being served and for our bill. Finally went inside the restaurant to settle up. We asked a second waitress if she could take our money as we were in a hurry but she couldn 't. When our waitress arrived we complained about the long delay and the waitress responded, I can 't work any quicker, and you can go somewhere else to eat. This isn 't McDonald 's . Her colleague responded, Bravo- well said. . We were speechless. Incredible. One and a half hours and 40 euros for a one course 'Express ' lunch. It isn 't McDonald 's, the prices are certainly not McDonald 's, but it is only one tiny step up from McDonald 's in terms of cuisine. And the staff at McDonald 's are better trained and have much better manners.
On a day out in Wissembourg we were looking for a place to have lunch that catered for vegetarians. We struck lucky with this place lovely fresh salad bar and tartes flambes without the meat.
Pro: The place is clean. Con: The servers were not nice and not attentive at all. My husband is French and we both speak French and we definitely not looked like tourists. Food was not good at all. The Tart Flambee nature is dry and no taste. The mutton stick/skew was tasteless, no sauce to serve all and the side dish was a big bunch of ugly canned bean is really a joke. My husband took the pastry with chicken Francaise but the server placed a wrong order or the kitchen made a wrong food, whatever, waited for another 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the pastries were too much of the sauce overflew as messy, and no taste either. We went this restaurant because it was the only one open in a December 30 evening in the area.
Great salads and flammkuchen. We enjoyed staying there. Water was wet, beer was good, hundred characters is too many:
