Empire House - Witham

I waited nearly 40 minutes at the counter, from 6:47 PM to 7:25 PM, for my food. After 30 minutes, I inquired about my order, only to find that most of it had been sitting on the kitchen counter for 10 to 15 minutes! As they were packaging it up, I discovered that they hadn't cooked my entire order, which contributed to the delay. While I appreciated the apologies, they didn't help my situation as a diabetic who had taken my medication before eating and then had to wait so long to actually get my meal. I've visited Empire House several times in the past with few issues, but after this experience, I won't be ordering from them again!

I've tried almost everything on the menu and I've never had a disappointing meal. They have effective Covid safety measures in place at the takeaway as well. The food is consistently freshly cooked, and they’re incredibly quick – a typical family order takes about ten minutes. I highly recommend the salt and chili wings!

We had a fantastic family celebration dinner from Empire House last night (Sunday). We ordered over 20 main dishes, along with plenty of rice and chow mein. Everything was cooked within 40 minutes of placing the order, and when we got home, all the food was piping hot and delicious. I can't thank you enough for the excellent service!

This Chinese is a gem..! Service is so quick and portions are so generous. Food is very tasty , especially the deep fried shredded beef, it was still crispy when I got home and thats rare as other places were really soggy. Bbq Spare ribs were soft and yummy, smoked chicken was banging.! I’ve tried the majority of the dishes here and must say , not at all disappointed as I am Chinese myself, so know if they are cooking proper Chinese food.

Been going here for a long while but just recently the food has been going downhill. Its had loads of garlic in so we've not been sble to eat it and then tonight we've had part of the order missing and special fried rice that looked like normal rice. Won't be going back again.
