Very nice place with friendly service and delicious food.

I have been living in Poland for almost 8 years and this is the place where I have tried the best Polish food. The restaurant seems to have been a big house, now renovated as a restaurant. There are different rooms with tables, all of them decorated with a classic Polish style. Food is gorgeous! It's like at your grandma's, fresh ingredients and everything homemade. We ordered below dishes: Smalec (lard with meat). It was excellent, with a slight touch of smoked. Placki (potato pancakes) with schnitzel. Excellent dish. As a garnish they serve a kind of cabbage salted with sausages that was delicious. I could never expect a cabbage to taste so good. Golonka pieczony (pork knuckles roasted). Best dish in Poland. I love pork knuckles and this one was magnificent. It is worth to come to Retro just to try this dish. The service was perfect, everybody very nice and attentive. We had the chance to talk to the owner and congratulate her in person, she was really kind and warm.

Jedzenie bardzo dobre, klimat przyjemny mix stylu angielskiego i polskich lat 20 XX w. Obsługa ładna i bardzo miła. Ceny dość wysokie: sandacz placek po węgiersku 2 x fuzetea 133 zł. Niestety płatny parking przed lokalem.

My Polish husband and I were on vacation in his home town and found this gem. Great atmosphere and amazing food! Will probably go back again before the end of our vacation. Thanks for a great meal!!

Pysznie i przyjemnie. Obsługa przemiła, jedzenie fantastycznie smaczne, porcje zdecydowanie wystarczające. Bardzo polecam.
