I have gedimt at many tapas bars and would evaluate matadora near last. places like barcelona or toro in boston are much better. also at the end when dessert came, there were no birthday candles, no verbal “Happy Birthday” or note/message for our two friends. it is missing details like these that remain in my understanding. a host even confirmed with me on the phone that it was a birthday dinner. I have to give our waiter 5 stars, I wish I could remember his names. he was funny and a nice and attentive waiter.
Good food, high prices but to be expected. We went on a Saturday night so it was busy, but it still took pretty long to get our food. Ordered an appetizer that never arrived and our waiter was pretty much a ghost.
Ambiance and food was great. I love the round booths they have.
Service was incredibly slow! We ordered a tapas plate, plus 2 entrees. They brought the two entrees an hour later! Followed by the tapas! Not a word to us and it wasn’t even busy. Also, didn’t know it was at Hilton hotel till we got there.
Nice open restaurant located in the Hilton hotel. They could use more of a variety of tapas but everything we got was very good. The white sangria was delicious! Service was quick, friendly and efficient. I would go back!
