Taverna Kranetas Inh. Apostolos Antoniadis

We went through and found this Greek restaurant. The service was very attentive and friendly. The dining was very delicious. You're welcome.

During the evening walk through Wörth on the Danube I came by chance at the Taverna Kranetas. Well, coincidence perhaps not straight, the Ludwigstraße is the center of the otherwise more like a ghost town on the Danube. Ideally, however, perhaps also a bit sober, the Taverna Kranetas does not necessarily resemble the typical Greek restaurants in Germany, which are similar to the China restaurants here) but often want to make very pseudo Greek and imitate with any 08/15 decoration Mediterranean flair. The service is fast and attentive. The card is already handed over to the guest and the order is accepted after a reasonable time. A short time later, drinks are served and you don't have to wait too long for the dishes. This is almost limited to fast food, but fortunately only almost, because at first bites it becomes clear: quality and quantity are right here at least! The Ouzo plate, which I had chosen, awaits with grubs, pork at the spear and a Greek meat plant. The homemade Zaziki, which I had additionally ordered, is a real dream. Nice creamy and thick, not as watery and thin as the stuff from the supermarket. The meat has been cooked to the point, still juicy in the interior and by no means dust-dry, as I had to make it happen to other Greeks. In total, Taverna Kranetas is a recommended restaurant with grounded, solid and delicious Greek cuisine. Culinary discoveries and trendy experiments are not found here, but that was certainly not my claim. Therefore I very much like to spend 5 points for this Greek in the deepest Bavaria, my expectations have been tastefully and qualitatively surpassed. If I have to go back to Wörth on the Danube, a visit to the Taverna Kranetas would ultimately give the whole thing a positive touch.
