Bar 163 - Chertsey - Woking

Bar 163 was a surprisingly good find. The food was mostly good, Calamari was a bit bland, but my calf was the most tender I ever eaten and very tasty. Service was really good, not too in your face, friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

Nice meal in Bar 163, food good, but shame the service towards the end leave the experience down. The only waiter was very pleasant and service was good when we could see him. Later we could not see him at all until we sat on a table with other diners who drink a beer (it was only 10 a.m.). After we waited too long, we gave up the idea of Lindern, but we wanted to pay and go up twice and ask him to come to the bill and pay once!

We were in bar 163 often and love the atmosphere. reminds us of a continental caffe. the menu is simple and the food is delicious. good choice for a relaxed meal.

Nice decor, good service, food OK, had better but also had worse! Sticky toffee pudding was v nice!
