Bobs Fish And Chips - Wokingham

I finally discovered a fish and chip shop that knows how to cook their fish, chips, and battered sausage just right! The fish had crispy batter on the outside and tender, flavorful cod on the inside. The chips were plentiful and cooked perfectly, then drained before being served. I really enjoyed my meal and I will be returning tonight for more.

The food was terrible. The fish had no flavor and the chips were mushy. The chicken shish was insanely spicy. We ended up throwing away all of our food. Such a waste of money.

We used to rarely eat fish and chips because the quality at our local spot was terrible. However, we have been a few times in the last few months and the food has been amazing. The chips are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with plenty of salt and vinegar. The fish is cooked perfectly. Overall, it's a delicious treat that we are now enjoying more often.

Always pop down to Bob's for our weekly Takeaway. They always have something for everyone's taste. Fish, chips, pizza chicken (southern fried or grilled) as well as Indian! Staff are always super friendly... special shout out to Peter, you make the trip down a laugh! I am always waiting to hear what you are going to say! Thanks guys... I will be back next week!

Big order placed with them as feeding 10. Collected order only to get home and find items missing and wrong portions. Drove back to resolve it and was challenged by staff saying it was our error, not theirs….
