My wife and I both decided to try the Indian set menu for £42 each, thinking it would be worth the price. We both ordered the Lamb Seekh Kebab, but it was awful and lacked flavor. It tasted as if it came from a cheap supermarket. We only ate it because we were hungry and worried that any other option would be worse. I also ordered a beer, which I saw sitting on the bar for 15 minutes before it was finally brought to me after I finished my first course. The second course was slightly better but still disappointing. Despite being awarded two rosettes by the AA, the restaurant seemed to have lost its way. We ended up paying £91 for tap water, a beer, and a disappointing meal, with a printed request for a full tip. We will not be returning.
The food was delicious, but the service and attention could have been improved. We had to seek out the staff to place our order, and they weren't very attentive.
The service was fantastic with amazing staff. Although the fish was a bit disappointing at first, it was quickly fixed. Overall, the service was excellent.
Lovely staff. Evening food was acceptable but nothing special bearing in mind the AA 2 Rosettes; we like the mix and match Indian English menu. However breakfast was top drawer.
Sumit was an amazing waiter! Very humorous and gave great information about food and ingredients. His recommendations were spot on we will definitely recommend reading Kronenplaza
