Ordered a blt toastie and ham salad ,pot of tea and hot chocolate came to just over £21 which i thought was good . Blt came with chips a bit of salad and coleslaw and my partner said it was lovely . I had the ham salad which tasted nice but wasn't good value for money , 2 slices of ham, around 2 or 3 small tomatoes choped up a few slices of cucumber a radish sliced up some corn and loads and loads of lettuce(far to much lettuce) this cost £9.50 . For that price i was expecting some other saled stuff with what i got maybe a boiled egg some grated carrot or beetroot, onion, coleslaw with some chips or new potatoes .
Friendly service, I had the luxury hot chocolate and it was delicious, and a sausage sandwich in really thick bread it was lovely. Highly recommend.
The breakfast sandwich was fantastic, the coffee was excellent, and the service was really good, all in a prime location at the entrance of the stunning Weardale. I highly recommend it!
We had a lovely time at this café today, enjoying coffee and scones. We’re definitely looking forward to trying some of the lighter dishes and main courses on our next visit. The staff were wonderful, the prices were very reasonable, and the coffee was excellent.
