The pepperoni had a strange dark brown color instead of the usual bright red, and the cheese looked overly orange. After just one bite, I couldn't stomach any more. Overall, I've noticed a decline in quality at Domino's over the past year, but this particular store really missed the mark.
We opted for the deal of 2 medium pizzas with a choice of crust from the menu. The thin crust was too thin and crispy for our liking, but the Italian crust was much better. The classic crust was also decent, but we wouldn't recommend the thin and crispy option here. The garlic bread and wedges with dips were tasty. One person in our group preferred Pizza Hut delivery, but I personally enjoyed the meal. We received free delivery as our order total was over £13. The delivery was speedy, arriving in about 35 minutes from placing the order. The tracker kept us informed of the progress of our delivery. However, the delivery was not entirely contactless as the driver handed the food directly to me at the door. The driver was not wearing his mask properly and did not seem very friendly.
I have been ordering from this restaurant for the past 2 years. In the beginning, the food was hit or miss, but in the last 5 orders, it has been consistently disappointing. The delivery always takes over an hour, and the food arrives cold with unappetizing toppings. The last two orders were especially bad, with one tasting off and having to be thrown away. It seems like they are unable to prepare the food correctly anymore. Even when I tried to warn my daughter against ordering, her meal was also bad. I would recommend the Domino's in Bushbury instead, as they consistently provide good food. Unfortunately, they are not able to deliver to my area, and complaints to the current restaurant have been met with indifference.
Delivery: Ordered a pizza online at 5 o 'clock and received it at 6:10. I called a few times to ask where it was and was assured it was on its way. They seemed surprised that I thought 30 minutes late was bad, now having read other reviews on trip advisor I can see that by their low standards, this isn 't even bad. The food: The pizza, was cut into ridiculous slices, as if whoever had done it was purposely trying to make a mess of it. Uneven, and with some appearing as if cut by a child, it occurred to me that they probably got the size wrong and tried to make up the number of slices. I took a bite and upon realising that I 'd been conned, immediately called the pizza place for a refund. In retrospect, I should have refused the order, but having waited over an hour, I would have probably died if I didn 't eat something, even if it did look like vomit. *Ring ring* hi, the pizza that I said was over 40 minutes late is cold, I want a refund I was told that it would take three days to get my money back and they were sorry but they were busy. In typical British fashion, I said that was okay. I even consoled them on their continuing commercial success. At least I 'm getting my money back for this sorry excuse of a pizza. Stone cold and with the cheese hardening, I tried to get it into my oven for emergency life saving support. I was still hungry, although the pizza looked like vomit, I figured some heat could breathe life back I to it. Alas, the damage was too severe. The slapdash construction and over 40 minutes sitting in a car had rendered the dough hard, cheese beyond saving and my life, ruined. To worsen the blow, I received a call from an 01902 number. great I thought, they 're going to apologise further for this sheer misery. I was wrong. No. Because I 'd taken this mess from the delivery driver and shoved it in an oven thanks to the staff member who said I 'd get a refund, I would only receive half of my money back. I 'm now convinced that Domino 's pizza is the work of the devil Preying on the weak and vulnerable folk at 2 3am. Having ordered dominos for the first time sober I can say with great confidence that you 're probably better off eating a kebab off the floor or just getting your kids to make you a pizza out of play doh. All in all, I guess it could have been worse I haven 't yet noticed any symptoms of disease from the pizza and the bottle of coke I ordered is meant to be served ice cold so I guess they got one thing right.
Usually good delivery time and hot pizza. Plenty of choice, both bases and toppings, with free dips. Special offers on.
