They were out of more than half the starters, and the dessert wasn’t cooked properly at all.

The atmosphere, food, and service were delightful. The waitress was charming and courteous, and even though she was quite busy, she went above and beyond to assist us.

I always recommend The Crown to my friends and I generally enjoy my time there. However, one of the bar staff could use some training on how to avoid being sarcastic. When I ordered a pornstar martini, they didn't have any shot glasses, so he poured the prosecco shot into a tumbler. That was fine, but he wasn’t pouring the right amount to match a shot glass. When I asked him to pour more, he insisted that it was the exact same measure. Good customer service means that the customer is always right, and I hope he can work on his attitude!

The service was very slow. Restaurant was not busy probably about 5 tables at any one time. The place is nice and the menu has a good choice however the waitress was very slow. Ordered food and drinks at the same time. The main meal cane first. Waited 40 minutes for drinks. Ordered more drinks, about 20 minutes later we asked the waitress where they were. She forgot to put them through. The ends portions are small, I had a pizza and was full however my 2 friends ordered chicken and were still hungry after. Had to ask for the card machine as she left us with the bill for a considerable amount of time. We would have had coffees but we probably would have got them for breakfast! The place is very nice but the service let’s it down
