The Mermaid - Wolverhampton

Another local branch of the chain, The Vine, can be found in Wombourne.

I had a great time catching up with friends over dinner on the patio. I ordered the seafood risotto, which was delicious, but I wished it had more seafood in it.

This restaurant is part of the Vintage Inn chain, so you can expect the standard decor of a rustic country inn with lots of dark wood, stone floors, and more.

The mermaid was undergoing a refurb So only half the pub was open. This did not cause any inconvenience or disturbance to our evening. Looking forward to the complete refurbishment

I am 54 lived in Wolverhampton for most of my adult life and I have never been to the Mermaid! Lovely staff, enjoyable food and a good selection of wines. I will definitely go again with friends.
