Han Guk Kwan Korean - Wonju

Yesterday I ate Jjajangmyeon at another restaurant and didn't like it. Today I ordered Jjajangmyeon in this restaurant and this might be my favorite version in Cebu so far. The taste is almost the same as the one I tasted in Korea. Definitely will come back and for sure taste the other dishes as well.

Their food menu has changed, prices went up, and the names of the dishes changed too. Anyways, the prices were reasonable coz their good portion is good for many people—-which is my preferred portion. It’s been the same restaurant we had with my sister ever since it was near Ayala before and then they moved. Too bad though they don’t always have their free wifi on. What matters is the food. So authentic and makes my Korean instincts happy. I love it here! Hoping to bring my family or just my siblings here soon. Hehehheeeh.

One Korean dish that I really wanted to try was Jokbal. Saw online that Han Guk Kwan offers this dish and is open 24/7 so I decided to have it here. Jjajangmyeon (250php is great. The sauce was more than the noodles which I liked. I now know how jokbal (900php tastes like. It is boiled pata with very rich flavors I can't describe. Definitely the size portion is for sharing and will be enough for 4 people. I went at around 10am so the place was not packed and service was fast. Side dishes are refillable and I even got a complimentary soup (sundubujjigae . Price is definitely steep but I think it's worth it. Will definitely come back here to try their other dishes (they have sundaejjigae!

Good thing they transferred here in lahug, it's very accessible since it's just along the road beside USP. Food are okay. Love their side dishes
