This place serves Greek cuisine. Their bestsellers are Kebabs and Gyros in which you can choose to be filled with either chicken or pork, beef and either with hot sauce or none. They also has rice kebab, which basically has the same mixture with kebab except that it’s served with rice rather than wrapped in a kebab. They also have salads that are topped with generous servings of feta cheese and they have the vegetarian pita that is filled with the delicious tasting falafel, or chickpea balls. They have pastitsio, which is lasagna savored with herbs and spices, and the Mezze Platter, which consists of pita slices, sided with herb dips. This place is very affordable so if you are tight and you want some meditteranean foods or you want an authentic Greek descent, and a remarkable gastronomic experience then this is the right place to be. We ordered Gyros and Doner kebab of course its their bestseller! The Gyros is every bit as good as I thought it would be! all fillings were cooked to the correct consistency! I was stunned with the awesomeness of the food! The beef doner kebab was so fresh and luslciously tasty! It was excellent! Both were brimming with ingredients! We absolutely loved it! Their staff were all friendly and our orders were served at a reasonable time. Despite the level of awesomeness we experienced, I'm only giving them a 4 star because their table outside was not clean, I had to ask them to clean the table but it took them too long so we had to eat inside the Craft Cafebar Mezze. Its a bar beside My greek taverna. Of course we had to buy a few drinks from them to be able to sit and eat inside. Well, Its just but the right thing. I know the pictures I took doesnt do justice to what I was bubbling here but as the saying goes, dont judge the book by its cover so give it a try!
If you haven't been to a taverna, there is a decent one located inside the confines of Cebu City. This taverna offers some Greek favorite dishes such as gyros and Greek salad. The gyro is a must try. At first bite you would feel an explosion of different flavors inside your mouth. The pita bread itself is superb both in taste and texture, while the tzatziki balances the harmony of every flavors. The taverna's best-seller dish is not really Greek in origin, the doner kebab. The meat is a choice of chicken or pork wrapped in tortilla bread. It tastes alright; the servings may not be generous but the quality of the meat is superb. Another must-try dish that they have is their hummus. It has an amazing taste and aroma. It comes with four delicious and puffy pita breads and it goes well with the hummus. A good appetizer for the main dish. The restaurant needs improvements on its cleanliness. The customers have to clean the mess of other customers since the staffs don't clean them. Their food may be excellent but the management also needs how to train their staffs decent customer service.
I had the falafel wrap and enjoyed it A lot. I also like the pita bread they use cus it’s nice and soft. Definitely coming back to try the other stuff.
This would be my go-to place after a workout because of it offers a healthier options apart from other restaurant. I love their greek salad the most!!!
My wife really liked the salad because it's light while I enjoyed the fries and gyros if this is how Greek food tastes, for me it is accepted to the Filipino taste
