Ricci's Pizzeria & Sandwich Shoppe

No good, I went in earlier,today I bought a veal with tomato sauce.Worst veal I've tasted in my life.Must of frozen the veals either reheated etc,no taste wht so ever took 2 bites I threw it out.

I went here for the first time about 30 days ago after reading some great Italian sandwiches and food is really super awesome and very reasonably priced. This restaurant is super clean, and the customer service is very warm friendly, very efficient super professional. You place your order then go to an available table then the waitress/server brings your food directly to your table. The restaurant is super busy pretty well all the time but you never have to wait more than 15-20 minutes for your food. The customer order ladies are super warm friendly and you always get a big smile when you place your order at the front counter.The location is perfect with lots of free parking and lots of shopping in the immediate area. The pizza I ordered was the best pizza I ever ate and my guess is it is probably as good of a pizza as you would ever get, including anywhere over in Italy. I believe the owner is originally from Naples, Italy, so that tells you something right there. I only recently moved up to this area which is located just north of Toronto, and my experience was so great here, i went back there for lunch dinner 15 times, and that was all within my first 30 days living here in Woodbridge. After eating here,I will never never again eat another American-chain-style restaurant pizza again. This is pizza to die for.

As the name of the restaurant implies, this is a place to have pizza, sandwiches and pasta. not fancy but it hits the mark. you go in, walk up to the counter, place your order, go sit down and in good time, a waitress brings the food to your table. The food is very good, and the price is really economical. We started off with arancini as appetizers, shared a pizza and some panzarotti. You can get several types mod toppings, and sides of tomato sauce or meat sauce. If you are in the mood for some quick Italian food that’s good, this is the place. It’s now on my list for future meals.

My husband had the veal sandwich and it was outstanding full of meat and so tasty! He also had a side of spaghetti with meat sauce excellent. I ordered the 14 inch pizza with six toppings. Toppings were generous and it was delicious. We used to go to Ricci's when they were in Malton; however, when we moved up north, we didn't get there as often. In fact, we haven't been there for years and years and years, as it's quite a distance away. As soon as we tried the food, all the memories came flooding back immediately. WOW! Just as tasty and delicious as we remember it. Will we return? Absolutely! It will be a bit of a drive, but it's well worth it for tasty, fresh and satisfying Italian food.

The restaurant has a fun atmosphere. You order at the counter and they bring it out, calling out your name. The salads were great and the pizza and pasta was delicious. The panzarotto was good too! Would definitely be back. We really enjoyed the casual atmosphere.
