Teriyaki Experience - Woodbridge

The restaurant owner, who works alone as the cashier, cook, and prep person, was rude to customers before me. When I placed my order, I asked him to wash his hands as he had touched everything including raw chicken and cash. He refused and cheekily asked if I wanted him to shower. Eventually, he half-heartedly washed his hands with only water and wiped them on his shirt which is a clear violation of public health standards. This unsanitary behavior continued as he handled food, making it even more of a health risk. When customers tried to address this issue, he was dismissive and arrogant. Two other customers agreed with me and said they would never return. I demanded a refund from this arrogant, condescending, and unhygienic owner and vowed never to eat there again.

I agree with Alex Forward's review below. This place is clean, and the staff may not all speak English fluently. It's the best Japanese restaurant I've been to from Scarborough to Mississauga. The portions are generous, they give extra teriyaki sauce without asking, and the service is always friendly. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff's English is good. Sometimes there may be a wait, but that's because they are very popular. Thanks for the delicious food and friendly, clean service.

There are many Teriyaki Experience locations all over, but this particular one is hands down the best. I have tried many others, but this one tops them all. The secret is definitely in the chef - the teriyaki here is top-notch. I highly recommend everyone to give their food a try.

Japanese-inspired flavorful fast food prepared before you! You get fresh ingredients; piping hot, prepared on a teppanyaki iron grill. I got the chicken with assorted vegetables protein bowl (keto inspired with hot/spicy sauce and miso soup. The interior is compact and clean with courteous friendly staff.My next visit will be their hot spicy chicken with yakisoba noodles.

Can't say much but closed 30mins early. Was stepping out of my van to order but then they closed just as I was approaching.
